Sarcoma UK is a response to the need for UK specific information to support sarcoma patients being treated in the NHS. It was founded by Roger Wilson who was diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma in 1999. Sarcoma UK is a company limited by guarantee with charitable objectives, which include provision of information and the representation of sarcoma patient interests within the various institutions of the NHS.

On this website we aim to provide a gateway to information about the different types of sarcoma, using only internet sites in whom we have confidence after careful review of their ownership and content. Readers are reminded that no information found through these sites should be regarded as replacing the advice of their doctors. It should be used to help you decide questions you want to ask your doctors and can help provide a background for your decision-making when that it is necessary.

To continue to build and maintain its service Sarcoma UK welcomes donations. We also maintain a research fund which is advised by a group of clinicians and scientists active in clinical research into sarcoma. If you wish to contact us with regard to a donation please in the first instance.
